Bipartisan Praise for Vaccination Efforts

This title just doesn’t sound right, but I swear it is. Wisconsin lawmakers are actually kind of agreeing about vaccines as we climb out of the pandemic.

But, the mutual respect does make you question if the bipartisanship has partisan motives.

Maybe they saw my last video about partisanship!? But for real, it’s nice living in a state that is getting ppl vaccinated quickly #asgoeswisconsin

In a virtual event held by the Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce (WMC), Assembly Speaker Vos and Senate Majority Leader LeMahieu actually praised Gov. Evers’ vaccination efforts.

If you didn’t already know, Vos, LeMahieu and Evers barely ever get along. They are about as partisan as it gets.

But, they seem to agree on vaccines helping the state return to pre-pandemic activities and business openings. That’s great news for the likelihood that the state will feel fairly normal by the summer or fall of 2021.

Wisconsin Democrats and Republicans are still divided over whether mandating vaccines for employees is ethical or not. The Wisconsin Assembly recently passed bills that would prevent businesses from doing so.

Regardless, if you don’t have any medical conflicts with the vaccine, get it! It’s safe, easy, and free. Check out this website to find a vaccination site near you.
