Wisconsin a year after the Dobbs decision

Wisconsin a year after the Dobbs decision

As we approach the year anniversary of the overturning of Roe v. Wade, we talk to guest Jenny Higgins, Director of UW-Madison’s Collaborative for Reproductive Equity about the effects of the Dobbs decision in Wisconsin and nationally along with what abortion restrictions have done to families, communities and the economy.

Then we briefly touch on the underreported story of The Hollywood Foreign Press Association selling the Golden Globes to Dick Clark Productions and asset management company Eldridge and plans to shut down following several scandals. How are more people not talking about this?

We end on talking about the new inflation report, which leads to a conversation about the disconnect between what the numbers say about the economy and what the public thinks about the economy. We had to cut the topic short because of time but we plan to start there for Wednesday’s show.

Guest: Jenny Higgins
