The Housing Shortage Explained

Stephanie Rapkin, the Shorewood lawyer convicted of a misdemeanor after spitting on a Black teenager during a racial justice protest in 2020, outright rejected the judge’s sentence of a year of probation and 100 hours of community service, choosing instead to spend 60 days in the House of Correction as punishment. We discuss what we would do if offered the choice.

Then we talk to Genevieve Redsten about her article on what explains the Wisconsin housing shortage.
