Last night, at least three people were killed and five others were injured after gunman opened fire on the Michigan State Campus in East Lansing. Today also marks five years since 17 people were killed at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, FL. The U.S. has already seen more than 50 mass shootings this year. Yesterday was also the funeral for Officer Peter Jerving where over 3000 people were in attendance. When are we going to accept that the common denominator of mass shootings and street violence and accidents is the excess and access to guns?
