Tea Leaves or Nothing Burger: The Special Special Election Results

Wisconsin’s 24th Assembly District had a special election yesterday to fill Dan Knodle’s empty seat. As expected, Republican Paul Melotik beat Democrat Bob Tatterson. Less expected, it was a single-digit 7 point margin in a heavily Republican district (+23). What does that mean for the district, especially after Dan Knodle only narrowly beat Jodi Habish Sinykin. We also give away some Brewers tickets – can you answer this topical trivia question: Who is the midfielder on the women’s US NationalSoccer Team who play for and graduated from UW Madison?
