Last week was quite the roller coaster news dump for those who follow Wisconsin politics. Kristin followed on Twitter from afar as the events unfolded in the wake of Justice Janet Protasiewicz’s swearing in: from the redistricting case being filed, to Randy Koschnick being fired, to the new liberal majority voting to take some of the administrative responsibilties of the Chief Justice away from the position, a lot happened in four days. The drama brings up the question, in such partisan times, when a new majority takes control, what’s the right balance of compromise and bi-partisanship in the effort to move forward and “well, you did it, so we can do it”
