Last week, Wisconsin Republicans released two proposals that would ban transgender girls and women from participating in female sports at every grade level and in college. However, there’s yet to be a documented case in Wisconsin where this has been an issue. So the question remains, why does this nonissue continue to get such outsized prioritization compared to other topics?
